Because the nitriding layer of the nitriding spindle is very thin, if the internal stress of the spindle is not well removed before nitriding, there will be large white deformation after nitriding, and the thickness of the nitriding layer is not enough to offset the margin for correcting the bending deformation during the grinding process, so Before the precision spindle penetrates, the stress relief process must be arranged. For the phenanthrene nitriding precision spindle, although the terminal does not need to be treated with stress relief before surface hardening, the residual austenite structure in the stabilized hardened steel is stabilized after quenching and rough grinding, so that the size of the workpiece is stable and the processing stress is eliminated, and it needs to be arranged Low temperature/effect. The number of aging depends on the accuracy and structural characteristics of the parts.

However, if the thread has been quenched, it will be cracked due to stress concentration j, so the thread on the precision spindle is mostly not turned, and the flat machine uses the thread grinder to directly grind the unqualified ones after the quenching and rough grinding of the outer circle. It shall not be transferred to the next working procedure of the plate rolling machine.
